About me
I became a Slovene Member of the European Parliament on 9 May 2011, the Europe Day. Ever since the first day I am aware of the great responsibility entrusted to me by the voters and the party of Social Democrats. European politics cover a variety of areas and as politicians, we are forced to form opinions on a number of different issues. When taking decisions, I try to follow values, which I respect and deeply believe in. I am striving towards a better European society, which will be based on equality, solidarity and democratic participation and lead to sustainable development and green growth; thus I have separated my website accordingly. I hope you will enjoy browsing through it.
